It was a great day for Greenie Soccer on Tuesday as both the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams left the field victorious.

Christ School's varsity soccer team has faced a tough early-season schedule again this year, and after nine games a 3-6 overall and 0-4 vs NCISAA 4A schools.

With a bye week for Christ School football, the Greenies find themselves resting after four consecutive weeks of games.

With an injury to All-State running back Sidney Gibbs '19, Christ School took some time to get going against visiting Cannon School on Friday night.

For the first time in nearly half a decade, Christ School football will face the Cougars of Cannon School. Both teams come into the game having won their first game and lost their second. Cannon School defeated North Raleigh Christian Academy, 38-0, but lost to Mitchell High School, 27-6 in their game last Friday.

Texas is known for having the best high school football in the country. On Saturday, the Greenies welcomed an opponent from the Lone Star State, and for a moment, showed Texas what North Carolina football is all about.

The Christ School Broadcast Network was ahead of its time. YouTube, and streaming in general, were nowhere close to where they are now in terms of influence and reach when CSBN was started up in 2012. Keeping pace is a must, and CSBN will be doing just that for the 2018-19 school year.

In their first game of the year, the Greenies travelled to Tennessee to play the Christian Academy of Knoxville in a rematch of last year's season opener. The Greenies came away with a victory in that game, 28-11.

Though the Greenies fell to Providence Day on the road Thursday night, the coaching staff remains incredibly confident in the teams ability coming off this early season loss. In an even first half, the Greenies gave up a goal in the first 20 minutes before letting in a blooper late.

Congratulations are in order for Christ School head coach Randy Ashley and Kevin Snyder '19 who were named 3-A Coach of the Year and Athlete of the Year, respectively, by the NCISAA's Track & Field Coaches Association for their work throughout the 2018 season.

Recent graduate Faris Serafim '18, a former all-conference soccer player who suffered an ACL tear early in the 2017 season, has decided to continue his career at Lees-McRae College.

Last year, the Greenies lacrosse team, led by Head Coach Jeff Miles, headed out on the field looking for their first State Championship. 363 days later, Christ School lacrosse was on the same field looking to win back-to-back NCISAA Division 1 State Championships.

On May 18th and 19th, the NCISAA 3A State Track Championship was held at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC. Christ School had 16 boys on the State track roster and all came ready to compete. The 2018 spring season was loaded with strong individual results and the boys were finally prepped and charged to go after the best teams in the NCISAA 3A class.

All year long, the Greenies have pushed themselves for this weekend. After narrowly missing out on a state championship last season, the Track & Field team set their sights high in 2018, and the weekend has finally arrived.

For the third consecutive year the Greenies lacrosse team will advance to the State Championship, this time after defeating Charlotte Country Day School 16-9.

On Monday and Tuesday the Greenies Golf team took on the infamous Pinehurst #8 at the 3A NCISAA State Championship. The team did not disappoint as they finished +18 as a team over the two days, good for a second place finish overall

On Saturday, the #5 Christ School baseball team traveled to #4 Charlotte Country Day to compete in the 3A NCISAA State Quarterfinals.

The Greenies Track and Field team had the opportunity to host the CAA Conference Meet and didn't disappoint as they dominated the competition.
