Last year it was snow. Friday it was rain. Christ School has proven to be an all-weather lacrosse team no matter how bad the conditions are for its home opener.

Mikey Peralta ’21 and Nate Kelley ’22 led the way with four goals each Friday, Noah Beaulieu ’21 added three, and Emmett Paradine ’22 and Christian Hudson ’23 had two apiece in a 17-2 rout of Christ Church Episcopal (S.C.).

Sam Bassett ’22 scored a goal to go along with his team-high four assists and a late goal by Will Laney ’21 elicited the afternoon’s biggest roar from the Greenie sideline.

Mikey and Noah also had three assists each. Starting goalkeeper Sam Brie ’21 was rarely tested but kept the visiting Cavaliers (3-1) scoreless in the first quarter, allowing Christ School to jump out to a 7-0 lead.

The Greenies (2-0) have outscored their first two opponents, 30-9, ahead of Saturday’s 1 p.m. game at Roswell (Ga.). More photos from the Christ School-Christ Church game have been posted to the Christ School website at this link.
