Wetmore Hall's Front Doors

Class of 2026 Head Prefect Jackson Cancel ‘26 provides the narration for this piece, which centers around senior privileges and the double green, front doors to Wetmore Hall. The part about the alarm in Mr. Hyche’s office may or may not be true.

The Green Blazer

For a Christ School boy, the green blazer is the ultimate glow up. Narration (and comic relief) for this piece on the jackets comes from Dean of Students Drew Hyche ’94.

The Senior Prank

The Senior Prank livens up every Asheville School Week. Narrated by Wells Alderman '26.

The Student Section

Student Engagement Proctor David Gaines ’26 narrates this Greenie Traditions video piece on the student section, which harnesses the spirit of brotherhood more so than anything in the wintertime.

The Choir

Young House Prefect Thomas Cook ’26 narrates this Greenie Traditions piece on the Choir, which has formally existed at Christ School for 89 years. The program is as popular as ever with the boys, who frequently perform for the school community.

Ringing the Angelus

The ultimate case of it’s harder than it looks. Sacristan Ladson Walker ’26 and Verger Thomas Hunter ’26 demonstrate the proper way to ring the Angelus. The history of this iconic bell goes back more than 100 years.
