Christ School's varsity baseball and lacrosse teams have two big things in common over Spring Break – undefeated records and a flair for the dramatic in their latest wins.

As the sun set Wednesday in Emerson, Ga., Michael Posse ’22 rounded the bases with a two-run walkoff homer in the bottom of the seventh inning. The Greenies improved to 4-0 overall as a result of their 9-8 win over Dominion Christian (Ga.). Michael finished 3-for-4 with five RBIs, Andrew Grande '21 was 1-2 with two RBIs and a pair of walks, Mickey Meguiar '21 went 1-3 with a solo home run and was the winning pitcher with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief. Charlie Bell '21, Garrett Clapsaddle '21, and Jakob Iwanek '24 had one base hit each.

Twenty-four hours earlier, Mikey Peralta ’21 scored the biggest goal of his career for Christ School lacrosse, finding the back of the net with two minutes to play in Tuesday's 8-7 win at Harrison (Ga.). Mikey also scored in the second quarter, and the other goals for Christ School came from Emmett Paradine '22 (two), Christian Hudson '23 (two), Noah Beaulieu '21, and Sean Dow '21. Tuesday was the fourth game in five days for the Greenies, who are now 5-0.

Both teams now get some well-deserved time off before their next games. Baseball is scheduled to resume play with a JV/Varsity doubleheader on March 17 at the Anderson (S.C.) Cavaliers, while varsity lacrosse won’t take the field again until March 23 at Cannon School.
