Christ School's Response to COVID-19

Effective March 23, Christ School will deliver learning to students online until further notice. Campus facilities are not open to students nor outside groups. Information for prospective families about the Admission Office and campus tours is located here.

This webpage is a key resource that will be updated frequently, but we ask students and parents to check their email often for direct communications. Utilize this page, including the FAQ section below, for information, schedule updates, and more.

Christ School will remain a strong and connected community despite being physically apart. If you have any stories or pictures you'd like to share, email them to the school! Look for those stories here on the website or on TwitterFacebook, and Instagram. We will emerge from this crisis stronger than ever before.

How long will Christ School classes continue in an online environment?

Online classes will continue indefinitely as we monitor the spread of COVID-19 and follow the guidance of the CDC and other governmental groups.

How are standardized tests being affected by COVID-19?

Given the fluidity of the situation, we will not post information from ACT and College Board pertaining to scheduled standardized test administrations. We encourage you to check the ACT, College Board (SAT and AP), and ETS (TOEFL) sites for information regarding these tests.

What's happening to spring athletic games and practices?

The NCISAA has suspended all athletic contests indefinitely. Practices and scrimmages are suspended until further notice and we will communicate directly any change to that policy.

What should Christ School parents and students do?

First and foremost, stay healthy and safe during this stressful time! Beyond that, check your email and this webpage throughout the day for information and updates. Students, watch for emails from your teachers about online learning, class schedules, and more.

Also, let us know if you have any stories or photos you'd like to share with the community! We'd love to hear from everyone.
