MONROE, N.C. - An omen if we’ve ever seen ONE.
Golf’s practice round for the NCISAA 4-A state tournament on Sunday included the very first hole-in-one for senior Will Henry ‘26. Will’s tee shot found the bottom of the cup on Rolling Hills Country Club’s No. 11, which is a 182-yard Par 3 hole.
Will is from Hendersonville, N.C., and one of five seniors from the Class of 2026 who will continue their educations at UNC-Chapel Hill after graduation. The state tournament is a two-day, 36-hole event, and the Greenies tee off Monday morning at 8 a.m.
Christ School is seeking its first state championship in golf since 2014.
