Big weeks and big games call for big moments.

George Robbins ’24 had his Tuesday for Christ School varsity soccer. With a 0-0 stalemate at Carolina Day dragging on, the Greenies finally broke through when George scored early in the second half.

The next 35 minutes had their share of harrowing moments. Junior defender Brendan Regan ’24 came to the aid of goalkeeper Ben Yang ’24 to prevent two Wildcats’ goals with his quick thinking, and Christ School hung on for its first Carolinas Athletic Association win, 1-0.

Wells Edwards ’25 and Bradley Campbell ’24 set up the goal with a couple touch passes. George was trailing the play and took his shot from the top left edge of the penalty area.

The Greenies (5-7-0, 1-1-0) are back home Thursday. The start times for a doubleheader vs. Asheville School are 4:30 p.m. for the JV and 6 p.m. for the Varsity.
