Christ School track’s depth was too much for four other boys teams at Wednesday’s meet hosted by Asheville High School.
Duke recruit Dawson Reeves ’24 got his stiffest competition from his teammates in the 800-meter run (1:54.50) and 3,200-meter run (10:09.07), while the Greenies took first place in the meet’s final event, the 1,600-meter relay (3:31.35).
Second-place athletes for Christ School were Tyler Thompson '24 (400-meter dash, 53.11), Luke Parrish '24 (800-meter run, 2:01.99), Dallas Reeves '27 (3,200-meter run, 10:09.07), Jake Landis '25 (pole vault, 10-6), Calvin Williams '24 (shot put, 46-2), Finley Sullivan '25 (discus, 133-5), the 400-meter relay (44.50), and the 800-meter relay (1:32.51).
