Thank you to Christ School swimming coach Dr. Brent Harris for graciously providing this preseason update and photos:

"The Swim Team is through their first two weeks, completing evaluations and putting thousands of yards of hard work towards getting in shape for the first meet Thursday, November 16th at Charlotte Latin. We have many new swimmers to fill out the team including Isaiah Gray '27, Hardy Johnson '24, Nolan Johnson '27, Lucas Little '24, Carter Martin '26, Nolan Miller '25, Evan Reich '26, Tristan Richard '27, Spencer Vande Weghe '25, and Henry Wilhelm '25. They are such disciplined athletes and work so well together! They are proud to wear the CS Swimming brand.

Our swimmers are a diverse, cross-trained group coming from other competitive sports and are already demonstrating their commitment to scholarship. We had five swimmers in the ACT boot camp this past weekend and are awaiting the return of our postseason football athletes after they complete their victories on land. We can't wait to get the whole team in the pool and get racing! Thanks to all the support from our Greenie parents!"

In all, Christ School will race eight times before the NCISAA Division I state championship meet on Feb. 13 in Charlotte. Assistant coaches for this year's team are Carolyn Lowe-Thompson P'24, P'26 and Thomas Schmedding.
