Opportunity came knocking this spring for Christ School athletes. The Greenies answered in every single sport offered by the Carolinas Athletic Association, the first such conference-championship sweep for the boys since 2018.
- Golf: 15th consecutive CAA championship.
- Track & Field: Sixth consecutive CAA championship.
- Tennis: First conference championship in five years.
- Baseball: Co-conference champion with Rabun Gap (Ga.).
- Lacrosse: 3-0 in first-year for the new CAA conference, which includes the Greenies, Asheville School, and Rabun Gap.
Big points in the distance events and jumps carried Track to the CAA title Wednesday night at Montreat College. Individual conference champions for the Greenies were Rocky Hansen ’23 (800, 1,600, and 3,200-meter run), Quinton Cancel ’23 (long jump), Morlue Eesiah ’24 (triple jump), and Jake Landis ’25 (pole vault).
Christ School (144 points) was behind runner-up Rabun Gap (131.5) with three events to go.
