SWANNANOA – Sixteen straight wins in the Carolinas Athletic Association and counting.
Oliver King ’28 pieced together his second hat trick (three goals) in as many weeks and Christ School varsity soccer extended a streak in conference play that dates back to 2024 with Tuesday’s 6-0 win at Asheville Christian Academy.
Vytis Rimkus ’29, George Prate ’30, and Lyndon Bryan ’27 had one goal apiece for the Greenies (7-1-1, 3-0), who have swept their home-and-home CAA series with the Lions (7-4, 0-3) by a combined score of 8-0.
Assists went to Oliver, Wyatt Campbell ’27, Benjie Ayisah-Quaye ’28, Hoge Reynolds ’27, Isaiah Redmond ’30, and Silas Henry ’29. Max Rodriguez ’29 (four saves) and Jameson Dow ’27 (one) combined for the team’s third clean sheet of the season.
Christ School still has two more games this week – starting Thursday at home against Erwin (2-2-3). Game times are 4:45 p.m. for the JV, followed by the varsity.
