Congratulations to Niko Andrews ‘26 on his verbal commitment to play football for the University of Richmond, announced Saturday on his social media.
Wherever the Greenies needed athleticism or a burst of speed, they turned to the 6-foot, 180-pound senior from Pittsburgh. Niko returned kicks and even played quarterback late in the season, but his specialty was defensive back. He broke up 10 passes, made four interceptions, forced three fumbles, and as a testament to his ability, was only targeted 24 times.
