The people of Spartanburg County, South Carolina had their voices heard on Election Day and showed their approval for a Christ School family!
Congratulations to alumnus and school Trustee Scott Montgomery '93, P’27 (South Carolina House of Representatives) and Betty Montgomery W’47, P’93, P’96, P’98, GP’24, GP’25, GP’27 (Spartanburg County Council) for winning their elections Tuesday.
This will be Scott’s second term representing the 32nd House District. Betty is his mother and has lived in Spartanburg County for more than five decades. She was the winner of the Head of School Award at Alumni Weekend in September.
A third connection to Christ School is Mississippi Senate candidate Scott Colom, who holds a slight lead in a race too close to call as of Wednesday morning. Scott attended school here as a sophomore and junior, ultimately choosing to graduate in his hometown of Columbus, Miss.
