Matt Cooper ’01 is Principal Designer and Founder of SPRK Lighting, an award-winning lighting design company which has worked with clients such as Disney, Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, Bass Pro Shops and more to accentuate their attractions, theme parks, and events.
Matt and his crew graciously gave their magic and time to retooling Pingree Auditorium last week, and we saw the results in Friday’s first assembly of the year. Pingree has never looked or sounded better with improved illumination and acoustics.
It’s a testament to the love Matt has for Christ School and his memories of productions in Pingree as he was active in Drama throughout his time as a student.
Words cannot express how thankful we are to Matt and everyone at SPRK.
Last Thursday was another full circle moment in St. Joseph’s Chapel for the former Sacristan, who found the robe still fits great as he stood alongside Mr. Hartwig and this year’s chapel leaders – Thomas Hunter ’26 and Ladson Walker '26.
