Mason Holtzclaw '27 Surpasses 1,000 Yards

Mason Holtzclaw ’27 went over the 1,000-yard mark in passing for the second time in his high school career, and his first time as a Greenie, in last Friday’s 17-6 home loss to Charlotte Christian.

Mason is a 6-foot-4 freshman from Belton, S.C. He reclassified to the Class of 2027 after transferring from Wren (S.C.).

Top receiving targets for Mason have been four seniors – Morlue Eesiah ’25 (18 receptions for 244 yards and one touchdown), Calvin Williams ’24 (17 receptions for 253 yards and three touchdowns), Will Neumann ’24 (13 receptions for 133 yards and one touchdown), and T.J. Hamilton ‘24 (10 receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown).

Varsity Football has an open date this week with the next game being at home Oct. 20 against Cannon School.
