The HPU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee voted for Mac Kimel ’22 to receive its annual sportsmanship award during Monday night’s Pawscars Awards Ceremony.
Mac was chosen because he “is super outgoing and friendly. He tries to make personal connections with all the athletes and is invested in the success of other teams,” the presenter read Monday.
Mac is a senior left-handed pitcher for the HPU baseball team. Mac has 15 appearances in the past two seasons for the Panthers (26-13) after starting his college career at Pitt Community College.
