Lacrosse Nips Public-School Power Middle Creek, 3-2

BURLINGTON, N.C. - Defense got the job done for Christ School lacrosse again on Saturday.

Goal-scorers for the undefeated Greenies (2-0) were University of Denver recruit Caden Paradine ’25, R.J. Fox ’25, and Queens recruit Parker Beiland ’24. Parker’s goal in the third quarter, his fifth of a young season, proved to be the game winner.

Coach Patrick Haley singled out the play of senior goalkeeper Lucas Little ’24 (who has signed with York College of Pennsylvania), junior defender Xander Ring ’25 (a Brown recruit), and sophomore defender Carter Martin ’26. Lucas and Christ School’s starters have only allowed two goals this season.

Middle Creek (2-1) is one of the top public-school programs in North Carolina, having won 4-A state championships in 2017 and 2022. Saturday’s game was played at a neutral site since Middle Creek is in Cary, N.C.

Christ School lacrosse continues its Spring Break road trip Tuesday at St. Paul VI Catholic (Va.).
