Kingston Whitty '26 Commits to West Virginia Basketball

Congratulations to Kingston Whitty ’26 on his verbal commitment to play basketball for West Virginia University, announced Tuesday by the four-star guard on his social media.

Kingston is a 6-foot-2 senior from Mableton, Ga., (just outside of Atlanta) and a newcomer to the Greenie program. He averaged 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists last season for Holy Innocents Episcopal (Ga.), and then really saw his college stock soar with his play last spring for Pro One Basketball on the Under Armour Circuit.

Kingston was given his four-star rating by ESPN last month. He is also a former two-time state champion in track & field (the 400-meter dash and high jump) and a strong student with a 3.84 grade-point average.

Kingston is the second senior from Christ School’s Class of 2026 to make a college sports commitment, joining teammate Tyler Jones ’26 (Albany University basketball).
