Justice Ajogbor '20 Maps Out Final Year of College Basketball

Imagine having an undergraduate degree from Harvard and still being able to pick and choose where to use one last year of college eligibility.

Welcome to your life, Justice Ajogbor ’20.

The 6-foot-10 Christ School alumnus saw what the transfer portal had to offer for the better part of two months before announcing Monday that he will play the 2024-25 basketball season for Saint Joseph’s.

Justice is an Economics major at Harvard and played four years in the Ivy League. He averaged 8.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks as a senior, was named the Crimson’s Defensive Player of the Year, and finished with 97 career blocks, ranking him No. 10 all-time in the program’s history.

He is eligible for a fifth season as a graduate transfer due to NCAA rules brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Harvard extended its well wishes to Justice on Monday through the team’s X account:

“A tremendous ambassador for our school and program the last four years, we know that Justice Ajogbor '24 will continue to play with a purpose as he continues his collegiate career at St. Joseph's! Congratulations Justice!”

Justice scored 706 points in four years at Christ School and was a three-time All-Carolinas Athletic Association player in the post for the Greenies. He is originally from Benin City, Nigeria, but lived with the Bridgeford family, Greg and Gina P’18, P’20, throughout high school.
