Everyone wants to understand AI and what the implications will be for the future, socially and financially.
Jaron Richardson ’23 is one of the experts being turned to for answers and he’s still in college.
The Christ School alumnus is the first AI and Socioeconomics major at Johns Hopkins University, where he is a senior. Even at a young age, Jaron is such an authority on the subject of AI that he was flown out to Las Vegas a few weeks ago to speak at the National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers (NAAMM) fall business meeting.
Jaron spoke specifically about AI and regulatory capture, sprinkling in details of his personal story from Christ School. He had been kicked out of his previous high school and Jaron attributes his time as a Greenie to helping turn his life around. He was a Prefect in Cuningham House his senior year and also scored quite a few goals for the soccer team.
Jaron is so appreciative that he is pitching a book to publishers called “Stumped,” which would highlight Christ School and connect his personal journey to his current work in AI.
