Congratulations to Jack Dennehy ’27, who announced his verbal commitment to run cross country and track for Villanova University on Sunday.
Jack is from Asheville.
His personal record for cross country (15 minutes, 3.60 seconds) came Saturday in the Virginia Showcase meet, and he holds the school record for the 5,000 meters on the track (15:09.79), a race that occurred last June in Philadelphia.
Jack is the 13th senior from Christ School’s Class of 2027 and the fifth distance runner to make a college commitment.
