CANTON — A streak now older than many of the boys at Christ School lives on another year.
Golf won its 18th consecutive Carolinas Athletic Association championship Wednesday at Springdale Resort by 21 strokes.
The Greenies (303) were led in the conference tournament by Hank Bradley ‘27 (74), Jack Teague ‘29 (74), Hudson Hatch ‘28 (77), Will Henry ‘26 (78), Levi Ellison ‘27 (81), and David Gaines ‘26 (93).
Coach Gorham Bradley P'27 called Wednesday’s match the best, collectively-speaking, for the team this spring. Springdale has been a favored venue for the CAA Tournament for several years now and played more difficult than usual Wednesday due to nagging wind.
