Christ School's undefeated golf team claimed far and away its biggest win yet Friday, taking first place in the 16-team Wesleyan Christian Invitational Tournament at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C.

The Greenies and Wesleyan tied atop the leaderboard at 304, with a fifth player's score being used as the tiebreaker. Individual scores for Christ School were Taylor Kuehn '23 (73), Jamal Hutchison '23 (75), Charles Howden '22 (77), Elijah Abundis '24 (79), and Wells Edwards '25 (82).

Taylor, a junior from Asheville who has committed to play college golf for Samford University, was the co-medalist.

Grandover has served as the host for past NCISAA state tournaments and all the Greenies' top competition for this year's championship were present Friday. It has been a rewarding week for the program, with Christ School winning the Carolinas Athletic Association Tournament by 31 strokes Thursday in Cruso, N.C.
