The Carolinas Athletic Association Tournament was a date with destiny for Christ School golf.
As the sun was setting Thursday over Springdale Country Club in Cruso, N.C., the heavily-favored Greenies were celebrating a conference championship.
Jamal Hutchison ’23 was the CAA medalist with a score of 75 and joined on the all-conference team by Taylor Kuehn ’23 (76), and Charles Howden ’22 (78).
Christ School’s team score of 317 was 31 shots better than CAA runner-up Carolina Day (348), which was followed by Asheville Christian Academy (358) in third place. The Greenies have won the CAA Tournament every year since 2010 - the 2020 season was cancelled by the pandemic.
The Greenies are back on the road Friday for a 20-team tournament in Greensboro, N.C.
