Poetry and sports mingle more than you think.
The boys are believers after Friday's Cooper Living Arts Series visit by Ross Gay.
Mr. Gay, an award-winning poet, essayist, and professor of English at Indiana University, was on campus all day sharing his literary talent with Greenies. His reading in assembly allowed Harrison Bieschke '26, Kiran Kudva '28, and Declan Szostczuk '26 to recite their own original works. Later in the afternoon, there was a podcast recording with Felix Huebner '26 and a Q&A.
The Cooper Living Arts Series, now in its fourth year, is made possible by alumnus Edwin Cooper ’81, P’19, P’23 and his wife, Andrea P’19, P’23.
