All-conference selections have been announced for the Western Football Conference that Christ School is part of along with Rabun Gap (Ga.), Metrolina Christian Academy, and Cannon School.

Alabama recruit Cayden Jones ’24 was voted Athlete of the Year by the league’s coaches after finishing his high school career with 283 tackles.

Cayden is being recruited by Nick Saban and his staff to play linebacker for the Crimson Tide, but the Under Armour Next All-American fulfilled a myriad of roles for Christ School over the years, including quarterback, running back, receiver, and duties on special teams.

The Greenies (4-7) beat Asheville School for the 12th straight year and reached the semifinals of the NCISAA Division I state playoffs, losing 56-17 at Rabun Gap on Friday. Christ School had 11 other players make the All-Western Football Conference’s first or second team.
