Fall Sports All-Academic Team Announced

Continued excellence in the classroom and on the playing field has made Christ School one of the leading athletic programs in the NCISAA. 

New for this year, the Athletic Department will be recognizing boys who set the standard for what it means to be a Greenie student-athlete with All-Academic teams for the Fall, Winter, and Spring sports seasons.  

This year’s Fall All-Academic Team consists of these Greenies:

  • Rocky Hansen ’23, Cross Country.
  • John Barton ’25, Cross Country.
  • Patrick Wang ’24, Cross Country.
  • Ethan Rose ’24, Soccer.
  • Luka Rose ’25, Soccer.
  • Jack West ’25, Soccer.
  • Wells Edwards ’25, Soccer.
  • Josh Harrison ’24, Football.
  • Tony Murphy ’24, Football.
  • Weder Qin ’24, Football
  • Honorable mention: David Buckingham ’24, Football.

The criteria for the team is as follows: A varsity athlete must have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average at grade check and no student life markings or demerits. Athletic achievement during the season is also considered.

The All-Academic teams will not exceed 10 student-athletes. The honorable mention selection is a Greenie who may not necessarily meet the above requirements but has displayed significant growth in his academic pursuits.
