Doug Colvard ’06 and Robert Stolz Jr. ’13 took a break from highly-accomplished professional careers Wednesday to help prepare the Class of 2026 for what is soon to be their own transition from Christ School students to Christ School alumni.
Doug has been an attorney and member with Raleigh’s Fallone SV firm since 2022, assisting venture capital funds, startups, and growing companies, with an emphasis on venture financing, corporate structuring, commercial contracts, and mergers and acquisitions.
Robert is Director of Operations at Aqua Mizer, a nationwide provider that focuses on water conservation through the installation of high-efficiency plumbing fixtures that result in tremendous water and money savings.
Along with insights from those two Greenies, Board of Trustees Chairman Steve Young ’82 said some brief words to the seniors. Steve's advice included doing the right things when no one is watching, staying true to your word, and surrounding yourself with the right people.
Wednesday’s lunch in the Patrick Beaver '98 Student Center was catered by downtown Asheville favorite Mamacita’s Taqueria, which is owned by John Atwater ’91, P’24.
