Two-time defending state champion Christ School won Tuesday’s Brevard 2-Mile scrimmage cross country meet as a team, with seniors Dawson Reeves ’24 and Eyob Gill ’24 going 1-2 individually.

The CS XC team opened the season Tuesday afternoon with the Brevard Early Bird 2 mile at the Boys and Girls Club of Brevard. The 3 team meet was run in 92 degree heat on an old grass runway in the blaring sun. The team was led by seniors Dawson Reeves and Eyob Gill, followed by Dallas Reeves, Luke Parrish, and Patrick Wang.
