Coleman Davis '18 Furthering His Medical Career at UNC

Coleman Davis ’18 remembers being an impressionable freshman at Christ School in the fall of 2014.

The right teacher – David Williams in Biology – sent him on a path that Coleman pursues to this day.

Coleman is a first-year student at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and has been awarded a $10,000 annual renewable scholarship based on merit.

He received an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Duke University in 2022, then went to work on eastern North Carolina ambulances from 2018 to this current year, advancing his certifications from EMT to advanced EMT to paramedic.

Coleman was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist, Eagle Scout, and received awards for his volunteer efforts in conservation during his time at Christ School.
