For a Greenie, there is no fit as satisfying.
The 71 members of Christ School’s Class of 2020 slipped on their Senior Blazers for the first time Wednesday, allowing all of the moment's emotions to flood in.
“It’s surreal. I’ve been looking forward to this ever since they fitted me (last spring),” Henry Duggins ’20 said.
“It’s something you think about a lot,” Patrick Shea ’20 said. “It’s still hard to believe. It’s still sinking in.”
Dean of Students Drew Hyche ’94 gave out the green-colored jackets Wednesday in Wetmore Hall, the same day as Christ School’s all-school photo. The blazers, tailored individually for each boy and with the Christ School shield sewn into the front, will be worn in formal settings between now and Commencement on May 17, 2020.
