Niche released its 2026-27 rankings for U.S. high schools on Monday, with Christ School as the No. 1 Boarding School in North Carolina and maintaining its place as the top private school in the Asheville area and Buncombe County. The school’s A+ rating on Niche puts it in some esteemed company as only 0.2 percent of schools in the country have received that high of a designation.
