Cayden Jones '24 to Play in Under Armour All-America Game

Cayden
Cayden Jones '24 committed to play college football for Alabama on April 21.

Cayden Jones ’24 should come back from the Under Armour Next All-America Football Game with more free swag than he knows what to do with.

It'll be a nice problem to have.

The rising senior from Christ School has accepted an invitation to the all-star game next January in Orlando. He’ll practice with more than 100 of the country’s top players all week in the buildup to the game, which is televised by ESPN.

Cayden is a four-star free safety/linebacker/wide receiver from Asheville. He committed to Alabama during an April 21 press conference in Mebane Field House, breaking the hearts of dozens of other major Division I fan bases. Cayden is No. 70 in the ESPN 300 national recruiting rankings for the Class of 2024.

Even though his junior year was cut short by an arm injury, he received all-state honors for the second time and all-conference recognition for the third time.

Cayden and the Greenies open the 2023 season on Aug. 19 at Lowndes (Ga.).
