Four months of training culminated in one golden day for Byron Park ’24.
The Christ School senior had not one, but two gold medals draped around his neck as he packed up his bow on Saturday. Byron won a pair of state tournaments within hours of one another – the N.C. State Indoor Archery Championship and the N.C. State Indoor Junior Olympic Archery Championship.
Byron devoted much of the fall to preparing for these two competitions.
He is a fifth-year senior from Asheville and part of Christ School’s chapter of the National Honor Society.
