Baseball Now 3-0 on Spring Break Trip to Alabama

GULF SHORES, Ala. — A sojourn to Alabama has been good for the boys.

Christ School varsity baseball improved to 3-0 in the Gulf Coast Classic tournament with today's 13-1 mercy rule win over previously undefeated Mineral Wells (8-1) from Texas.

Will Ray '27 hit a three-run homer and had four RBIs for the Greenies (6-2), which topped only the production from Henry Tutera '28, who had a two-run home run and four RBIs. TK Wright '27 was 2-3 with a run scored and Garin Gosnell '28 went 1-2 with three runs scored.

Christ School led 9-0 before Mineral Wells ever scored its first run.

Patrick Robichaud '27 pitched a complete game, giving up one earned up and three hits over four innings with four strikeouts and no walks. The Greenies beat Mississippi's Marshall Academy (10-7) and Tennessee's Gallatin (12-2) the day before.
