Alex Yeatman '28 Repairs Campus Bridges for Eagle Scout Project

Did you know you’re surrounded by Eagle Scout projects here at Christ School?

Over the years, Greenies looking to fulfill the last step in becoming an Eagle Scout have built everything from benches to bike racks here on campus. Even the war memorial in front of St. Joseph’s Chapel was the completed vision of alumnus Zach Mitchell ’12.

Asheville sophomore Alex Yeatman ’28 is carrying on this tradition of service. Alex has been leading a crew that is repairing the bridges which connect our miles of wooded trails.

Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable through the Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America) program and has been awarded since 1911. Only 4 percent of Scouts receive this designation after a lengthy review process.
