21 Greenies Named AP Scholars

Academic Rigor sits at the heart of Christ School’s curriculum and was the focal point of Assembly on Monday.  

Dean of Academics Emily Pulsifer P’15, P’17 and Associate Dean of Academics James Uhler announced that the following boys have earned Advanced Placement Scholar awards.

AP SCHOLARS (Students who score 3 or more on at least three AP exams).

Li Hong Chen ’24, Luke Garner ’24, Noah Henthorn ’24, Luke Jennings ’24, Wyatt Love ’24, Weder Qin ’24, Brendan Regan ’24, George Robbins ’24, Ethan Rose ’24, Lleyton Thomas-Johnson ’24, Patrick Wang ’24, Calvin Williams ‘24, and Mark Yee ’24.

AP SCHOLARS WITH HONOR (Students who average a minimum of 3.25 on AP exams and score 3 or more on at least four of those exams.

Mason Heth ’24, Jake Jarrett ’24, Leo Lagutin ’24, James Lilly ’24, Tony Murphy ’24, Bill Zhou ’24, and Jacob Beatty ‘25.

AP SCHOLARS WITH DISTINCTION (Students who average a minimum of 3.5 on all their AP exams and score 3 or more on at least five of them).

Tyler Thompson ‘24.

In addition, Mrs. Pulsifer presented Tyler and his younger brother, Spencer ’26, with Jefferson Cup awards based off their grade-point averages from the 2022-23 school year. Spencer’s cumulative GPA was 4.66, while Tyler’s was 5.0, which means he made straight A’s in all AP classes.

The Thompson brothers live on campus with their parents, Mark P’24, P’26 and Carolyn P’24, P’26, who are members of the Christ School faculty.
