Four Greenies Win Scholastic Writing Awards
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards has announced its annual contest winners for the Southeast region with four boys from Christ School making the list.
Mac Gortney '19: Gold Key for the personal essay "Gravedigger." Mac automatically advances to the national competition. Winners will be announced March 13 in New York City.
Wyatt Gildea '19: Silver Key for his collection of poetry. Honorable Mention for the short story "Prairie Lines."
Chad Treadway '19: Silver Key for the personal essay "Fist Fights and Unwavering Faith."
Lux Haney-Jardine '20: Honorable Mention for the humor piece "Did Wordsworth Vape?"
