Cindy Wheeler

Life has come full circle for new Bookstore Assistant Cindy Wheeler, who attended a youth summer camp in the 1960s at Christ School. 

She grew up in the mountains of North Carolina, but has lived in many other places since then, including New York City where she worked for Random House publishers, South Africa where she worked to raise cheetahs for a conservation program, and California where she grew to appreciate some of the Golden State’s greatest treasures – fine wine, river-rafting, and snow-skiing. 

Ms. Wheeler holds a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from Auburn University which translates into her current interests of painting and graphic design. Christ School is a family affair for Ms. Wheeler as her brother is longtime grounds worker Tad Wheeler and her sister-in-law is Director of Publications Donna Wheeler P’21.
