Wyatt Campbell '27 Commits to Presbyterian Soccer

Just when Wyatt Campbell ’27 thought his junior year couldn’t get any better.

Helping lead his father’s team to a historic championship alongside younger brother, Davis ’28, and two-dozen more of his closest friends was just the beginning.

Wyatt announced his verbal commitment to Presbyterian College soccer on Thursday.

He was a captain and All-Carolinas Athletic Association midfielder for the NCISAA 4-A state champion Greenies (20-1), ranking second among all players with 10 assists. Wyatt also scored three goals and made the N.C. Soccer Coaches Association’s all-region team.

Head coach Guy Campbell ’00 entrusted Wyatt to take the majority of the corner kicks for Christ School as well as trigger the offense with free kicks. The Greenies won 19 consecutive games en route to the program’s first-ever state title on October 25. Wyatt assisted the first of two goals by Costa Barlas ’26 in a 2-1 win at Covenant Day, avenging Christ School’s only loss.

Wyatt becomes the fourth Greenie junior to make a college sports commitment, joining Henry Brathwaite '27 (Mercer University lacrosse), Jameson Dow '27 (Lehigh University lacrosse), and Sean Kraft '27 (University of Notre Dame football).
