Soccer Mows Through Carolina Day to Stay Undefeated in CAA

By the time eighth grader Isaiah Redmond ‘30 lined up for a penalty kick Thursday, it wasn’t a matter of if, but when.

Isaiah’s PK brought an early end to Christ School varsity soccer's 10-1 mercy rule win over visiting Carolina Day. There was still 18 minutes and 38 seconds left to go in regulation.

Will Grabowski ‘26 scored his first goal as a Greenie, and the rest of the offensive production in a lopsided Carolinas Athletic Association matchup came from Lyndon Bryan ‘27 (two goals), Alec Dzialo ‘27 (two), Taz Kasambara ‘26 (two), Davis Campbell ‘28 (one), and Steven Barlas ‘29 (one).

The Wildcats (4-6, 0-4) made it a 2-1 game with Christ School (10-1, 3-0) at the 19:31 mark of the first half, but it would not get any closer. Lyndon’s second goal of the afternoon came 5 minutes later, and the Greenies fired in seven more, unanswered.

Assists were given out by Alec (two), Lyndon (two), Taz (two), Isaiah (one), Steven (one), Will (one), and Dominic Rose ‘28 (one).  Felix Huebner '26 (one save) and Max Rodriguez '29 shared time as goalkeeper.

The next game for Christ School is Tuesday at 4 p.m. versus Asheville Christian Academy at the Black Mountain Home for Children.
