Mobile AP Takes Off for Christ School-led AI Startup

Civics above politics.

Releasing a nonpartisan mobile app in 2026 may be very much at odds with the tribalism that dominates today’s political discourse.

Filling that chasm between the left, the right, and independents for informational purposes helps explain the early success of Delilah, which has been one of the country’s top-200 free downloadable apps since its launch two months ago.

Founder/CEO Joseph Visconti ’20 and his Chief of Staff, Eddie Willis Fleming ’20, head up a team that has a goal to inform and unite the country, a reason they chose “Democracy, Unlocked” for their company slogan. The app itself is a platform for everyday citizens and policy professionals to engage with legislation in real time. Bills for all 50 states are broken down by AI, which wasn’t even that widespread when Joseph first learned to code manually as a student at Bates College.

Delilah expects to continue its development and growth through social connectivity. And besides the downloads, it has already taken the Christ School-led team to places. Places like 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Joseph, Eddie, and others from Delilah met with the White House’s Office of Public Liaison earlier this month to demonstrate two platforms: Delilah Social (the version referenced on the App Store) and Delilah Pro which is suited for manual policy research with faster tracking, deeper analysis and smarter insights.

While at the White House, Joseph and Eddie had a chance to converse with a third alumnus from the Class of 2020, Thomas McIntosh ‘20, who is a Staff Assistant for the current administration.
