Justice Ajogbor

The highest-rated recruit in the history of Harvard University basketball is from Christ School.

Justice Ajogbor ’20 committed to the Crimson on Sunday, telling reporter Evan Daniels from 247Sports, “I’m deciding to play for the next four years at Harvard. Really for me the opportunity to play for coach (Tommy) Amaker, he's an awesome guy. The opportunity to go to a school like Harvard, is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.”

Justice, a 6-foot-9 center, chose Harvard over his other finalist in the recruiting process, Northwestern. Justice is ranked as the nation’s No. 10 center from the Class of 2020 by 247Sports and is No. 60 among all high school seniors. After returning from an early-season injury, Justice came on strong as a junior to lead the Greenies (16-14) to the Carolinas Athletic Association championship and an appearance in last winter’s NCISAA 4-A state championship game.

Justice was born in Nigeria and has been a Christ School student-athlete for four years. He found out about the school through a basketball camp in his home country and moved to the United States his freshman year to live with Gina and Greg Bridgeford P’15, P’18, P'20.

Justice is the seventh Greenie student-athlete from the Class of 2020 to make a college commitment, joining Cameron Akers ‘20 (College of Charleston golf), Will Buchanan ‘20 (Liberty University football), Davis Lindsey ‘20 (Loyola University Maryland lacrosse), Navy Shuler ‘20 (Appalachian State University football), Jack Sutton ‘20 (Walters State Community College baseball), and Aydan White ‘20 (N.C. State University football).
