Congratulations to Christ School’s Student and Residential Life Award winners for January, which were announced in Friday’s Assembly.

Nominations for the monthly awards are submitted anonymously by the faculty and their comments about the boys are below in quotations.

STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

Dominic Rose ‘28

“This student is always kind and happy every time you see him. Always smiling and asking how peoples’ day is. He is making many new friends here and has no enemies. He really builds community within his grade and the soccer team. When he sees that someone needs help, he offers a helping hand.”

Tony Murphy ‘24

“For the past almost six years, this student has represented Christ School in every area with pride. He is willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He looks after his peers and always does what is right. He is a Day Student Proctor, a College Guidance liaison, he gives tours for the Admissions Office, and is the director of one of the coolest podcasts at Christ School. His prayer for MLK Day and his participation with eighth graders on this day was inspiring. He’s a Peer Tutor and our Black Student Union president for the 2023-24 school year.”

ROOMMATES OF THE MONTH

Cam Walker ’27 and Pablo Neme ‘27

“These guys get along so well. They are very friendly with everyone in the dorm and respectful with each other. They are both good-natured, helpful, and always ready for the big salutation.”

SENIOR LEADER OF THE MONTH

Noah Hunt ‘24

“He is organized and communicative. And I know I can always count on him on-duty for job organization and for letting me know if anything at all in the dorms looks out of place. He is such a calming presence and a friend to all.”

JOB PROCTOR OF THE MONTH

Cole Schwarz ‘24

“When this student first started coming into job, he would come into job with no real intention to lead, but rather to socialize with the other members of our group. But over the past month, he was transformed into a leader of our group, he gets the guys started and eases them into their tasks. He fills in for students who are absent and without hesitation. He helps our group live up to a higher standard and continues to improve as a young man and leader.”
