197 Boys Make Honor Roll for Fall Term

hh

Making a list and checking it twice takes on new meaning when one considers that roughly two-thirds of Christ School’s student body (197 boys total) have been named to either the Head of School’s High Honor Roll or Honor Roll for the 2023-24 Fall Term.

Dean of Academics Emily Pulsifer P’15, P’17 made the criteria stricter than ever this year and the boys have responded accordingly.

The criteria is:

Head of School’s High Honor Roll

A student will be placed on the High Honor Roll when his academic average is a weighted GPA of 4.25 or higher with no grade below a B- (80, weighted).

Honor Roll

A student will be placed on the Honor Roll when his academic average is a weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher with no grade below a B- (80, weighted).

Christ School achieves its mission to produce educated men of good character, prepared for both scholastic achievement in college and productive citizenship in adult society through four pillars: Academic Rigor, Leadership, Spirituality, and the Dignity of Manual Labor.

Academic Rigor means providing a curriculum that engages, stimulates, and challenges each student to discover his own academic gifts and to develop their academic potential to its maximum. Our engaged faculty leads, mentors, and guides our students through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum.

Christ School dismissed for Christmas Break last Thursday and classes will resume on Jan. 3, 2024.
