ASSIST Students Bid Farewell
Three international boys became Greenies for a year
Three Greenies in the ASSIST program came to America with certain preconceptions. Day-by-day, what Carlleo Koch '20, Marko Cvetkovic '19, and Simon Solibieda '20 found was an educational culture that suited them at Christ School.
Each boy gave a short speech about his personal experience in a foreign country Tuesday in Chapel – Carlleo and Simon are from Germany, while Marko hails from Serbia. ASSIST is a non-profit organization which matches academically-talented, multi-lingual students with independent schools across the United States. The ASSIST experience only lasts a year before the students must return to their home country.
