Greenie Fans Featured on WLOS Game Changer
If you have ever been to a Christ School basketball game, you'll know that the excitement is "like no other experience." Christ School senior guard John Caldwell explains "it's a once in a lifetime thing to do. It's a special thing here. The fans are great!"
Caldwell '15 and his varsity teammates are supported by a massive student section of fans. For each home game, students arrive in themed costumes to cheer for the athletes. Assistant coach Tiger Norman says "it's all a big unit and they support each other."
WLOS agrees: "if the Greenies keep playing as well as they are right now, the student section will without a doubt continue to be one of the most enthusiastic in the mountains."
Since Eric Thorp '01 has stepped in as head basketball coach, the Greenies have won 10 of their 13 games, and are in first place in their conference.
