Sean Dow ’21 puts the “specialist” in Faceoff Specialist.
The Christ School alumnus, arguably the best to ever play the position for the Greenies, was named the Patriot League’s Faceoff Specialist of the Week on Monday.
Sean is a junior for Lehigh University. He won 14-of-29 faceoffs and snatched up 10 ground balls in Saturday’s 9-8 win over Bucknell. Both were career highs. For the season, Sean has a 47.1 percent faceoff win percentage and 42 ground balls. He is from Simpsonville, S.C., and the older brother of Greenie Jameson Dow ’26.
The Patriot League’s lacrosse players of the week awards are voted on by the league’s sports information directors, who are not allowed to vote for their own athletes.
