Greenies Take a Break on Spring Head of School Holiday

Academic Rigor. Leadership. Spirituality. The Dignity of Manual Labor.

Four pillars that inform who we are, and what we do as a school community on an everyday basis. And don’t forget Fun. A fifth and unofficial pillar, especially on days like Tuesday.

The much-anticipated Head of School Holiday had something for every Greenie - water slides, outdoor games, a charity 3-on-3 basketball tournament organized by Jackson Cancel ’26 and Tony Murphy ‘24, the Kona Ice truck, loads of music, a hot wing eating contest, and a special lunch from SAGE Dining that included a crawfish boil and bananas foster sundae bar.

Cuningham House Prefect George Robbins ’24 gave his Senior Speech in Tuesday’s Chapel and announced with a poem that classes were cancelled for the rest of the day with an assist from a not-so-incognito Dr. Jenkins.
