Keyvaun Cobb's fantastic Christ School football career ended in November after being named All-State three times as a defensive back, amassing over 3,000 yards on offense and accumulating 20+ interceptions and three trips to the NCISAA D1 and DII State Championships. His football career however, is not over as he signed his National Letter of Intent this morning to play football at Wofford College.
On a cool October afternoon, thousands of Christ School and Asheville, students, faculty, alumni and parents were on hand to witness the 92nd meeting of "The Game." In the first ever matchup in 1911, Asheville School shut out Christ School to the tune of 84-0. In 2018, the Greenies returned the favor, defeated the Blues, 48-0 in an incredible team performance.
The Christ School offense has been putting up historical numbers in 2018, averaging nearly 50 points per game. Yet, it was the Christ School defense that led the way on Friday night against a 5-2 Charlotte Latin team.
Friday evening at Rabun Gap was a sight to see. The Greenie offense showed out against the Eagles to the tune of 66-38 road win.
